School is in session, and we have a lot of work to do.

For Town Council
Be curious. Give back. Be a part of the future you want to see.
I grew up in North Smithfield. I want to raise my family in North Smithfield. But I worry about the actions our Town Leadership chooses to (not) take when faced with tough decisions. I’ve decided the best way to change that is to run headfirst into the fire and run for Town Council.
But real change will require more than just me. It will require all of us. I am excited to prove to you that I deserve your support.
So, are you ready? Let’s protect our town’s future together.
Learn About Me
As a college professor, my job requires that I remain constantly curious. My job requires that I be able to say, “I don’t know, let me look into that and get back to you” – and then come to the next class and provide the best available answer. My Values
It’s easy to see that I’m a nerd. I love getting into the weeds on policies, digging into the data behind decisions, and trying to make it make sense to the average person.
Part of it is because of my education - getting a Master’s in Public Policy and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, and becoming an educator for the next generation - it’s a certain type of person who’d do that.
But it also means those are the values I would want to bring to Town Council. Information that makes sense. Relying on the work and results of other Town Councils before us. Transparent decision-making and clarity for all residents.
